DESTINTATION: SHAMBHALA MUSIC FESTIVAL

As the world reels from the shock of global disruption, music and sound system culture are more important than ever. The grand designs of countries and monarchs can’t stop the music from playing. Shambhala Music Festival continues to elevate festival culture and etch a path forward for us all. From its humble beginnings, Shamnbhala has grown into a global icon.

Making the trip to Canada for Shambhala is a pilgrimage that all soundsystem heads should make. The festival is designed for audiophiles to explore all genres and sonic linguistics. Rave culture continues to evolve and thrive in an ever-changing landscape, but this festival continues to position itself at the forefront of sound.

This year’s lineup brings together an array of iconic names who have paved the way for others and emerging artists pushing boundaries and changing the game.

One glance at this star-studded lineup will undoubtedly showcase Shambhala’s premier curation and unmatched eclecticism. Our highlights from this year’s programming include the Skream & Friends Takeover at the Amphitheater, legendary drum & bass pioneer Andy C at the Village, ethereal beatweaver Mura Masa at the Grove, Justin Jay and Tape B at the Pagoda, Bob Moses at the Living Room and Opiuo as well as Dombresky at the Fractal Forest.

Although this year’s gathering is sold out, tickets usually become available via the official Shambhala ticket exchange. As we gear up for the 2025 edition of Shambhala, we’ll be diving deeper into the lineup, focusing on artists you should know as well as highlighting some of the reasons Shambhala stands apart as one of can’t can't-miss festivals in the world of electronic music.
